Says Dunn of her winning work, titled Storybook Village, “…I sought out to create a unique map of Fairport and its history through its architecture. As our buildings stand, we see that history through every nook in the brick, every panel in the roof, and every curve in the windowpanes. The community adds to Fairport’s charm and we ultimately write ourselves into its history. We become integrated into its structure and add to Fairport’s beautifully illustrative storybook.”
